Bonsai Pot Drainage Mesh, 5 Sheets

What it does

Plastic mesh laid over the drainage holes of a bonsai pot before the substrate goes in. It stops a granular mix washing out through the holes while letting water drain freely, and it keeps insects from entering the pot from below.

Using it

Cut a piece a little larger than each drainage hole and hold it in place with a short length of bonsai wire bent through the mesh and the hole. Fit the mesh before the drainage layer and substrate go in at repotting.

What is in the pack

Five sheets, each 140 × 200mm, made in Japan. One sheet cuts into many hole covers, so a pack lasts across seasons of repotting.
